REQUIREMENTS  AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

 

 

 

METHOD OF APPLICATION

$2,500 cash per year, per recipient, renewable for a total of four (4) years. A total award of $10,000 over the life of the scholarship provided recipient maintains satisfactory grades at college. Two (2) scholarships are awarded annually.

 

A senior male member of the current graduating class of any public high school in Erie County in the State of New York who is nominated by his high school principal or guidance counselor. Please note: Only one (1) nominee from each high school will be considered.

 

Each candidate must have a high standard of scholarship as demonstrated by high school grades, standardized test scores and rank in class.

Each candidate must have excellent personal characteristics, habits, diligence, be personable and possess outstanding leadership qualities both inside and outside school activities. Young men who are well rounded in all aspects of scholastic life and in their communities are encouraged to seek nomination. Financial need is a consideration.

 

Potential candidates should secure an application form from the high school principal or guidance office. Completed application forms must be submitted by the corresponding School Office via US Postal Service (First Class Mail) to the following address:

Applications for the 2022 Scholarship will be available on line or  mailed to each school in December 2021.  Please check with your school guidance office.
